Who is responsible
Saif Osman is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Questions or requests can be sent to saif@saifosman.com.
What I collect
When you use the enquiry form, I receive the problem description, your email address and any optional company or website information you provide. I also keep information you send in later correspondence.
Netlify hosts this site and processes form submissions. Its systems may also process basic technical and security information, such as an IP address and submission time, to deliver the form and filter spam.
Why I use it
I use your information to read and respond to the enquiry, ask for relevant context, prepare a First Read, discuss or deliver work you request, protect the site and keep necessary business records.
The legal bases are taking steps at your request before a possible contract, my legitimate interests in running and protecting the consultancy, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable. I do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
Service providers and sharing
Information may be processed by Netlify as the site and form provider, by the email service used to reply, and by professional advisers where genuinely necessary. I do not sell personal information.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, I rely on the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, assess fit, manage any work you request, resolve disputes and meet legal, tax or accounting duties. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an explanation of how it is used. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Your right to object: email saif@saifosman.com if you object to the way your information is being used. There is no solely automated decision-making or profiling on this site.
If a concern is not resolved, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office through ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
I will update this page if the site starts using new services or the way enquiry information is handled changes. The date at the top will show the latest revision.
